Wanderlust – Review
Hitting the theater today is Wanderlust, a comedy starring Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, Malin Akerman, Katherine Hahn, Ken Marino, Lauren Ambrose and Alan Alda. Join along as George (Rudd) and Linda (Aniston) watch their crazy Manhattan lifestyle crumble away as George loses his job and Linda finds her latest “career†rejected. After losing their new swank apartment, they set out to join George’s brother (Marino) in Georgia.
During their long trip to Georgia, the fighting couple stumble across Elysium in their search for a hotel. The people living at Elysium offer the couple a free night stay and a very different way of viewing life. When things quickly go estranged at George’s brother house, the homeless couple make their way back to Elysium to try out this way of life for a 2 week trial period. The funny story that follows will change their life forever and will keep you laughing in your seat.
This movie is definitely not intended for all audiences due to its nudity and
subject matter. However, Wanderlust is a unique comedy that will leave you
laughing at the zany inhabitants of Elysium. I give this movie 3 slabs of bacon. Enjoy!
