The Dark Knight Rises / Gotham High
Well, our review for The Dark Knight Rises is up on filmbacon.com. We’ll have a video up with and without spoilers as soon as I edit the video. Keep checking filmbacon’s youtube channel.
I had one more Batman post that I wanted to talk about before signing off on Batman for awhile. And that is “Gotham High” (All the images below can be expanded to full size)
In about 2009, Jeffrey Thomas and Celeste Green were approached to make a new DC series based of an old drawing that Jeff had drawn. The series was going to revolve around Batman and all the villains from the universe all going to the same high school. In the picture above, left to right – Clayface, Two-Face, The Penguin, Killer Croc, The Riddler, Barbara Gordon (Batgirl), Bruce Wayne (Batman), Scarecrow, Catwoman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bane, & Mr. Freeze.
From the pictures this thing looks like it’d be very corny. I mean, what are the chances all these people go to the same high school? Anyway, I’m sure it would be aimed for the tweeners, but from the artwork it looks pretty clever. I would have loved to see at least a pilot episode of this.
If you want something in similar fashion to this show, check out “Ultimate Spider-Man” on Disney XD. Spider-Man is in High School with 4 other up an coming Avengers. It contains the high school drama / action that you crave. Below are more picture of “Gothham High”
What do you think? Do you think this would of made a great show?
