Superman Underoos!
One of the simplest but coolest things when I was 5 years old was Underoos. You see, back in the day (1982), there was something called underoos. If you were a kid you had to have them. They were basically a pair of underwear and a t-shirt with a comic book character design/color. When I was a kid, my favorite was superman. I remember me & my friend, Tim Hill, in kindergarten both had the same superman underoos. We kept trying to wear them under our clothes on the same day. It seemed like we never synced up. But, when one of us would wear them we’d pull up our shirt and proudly display our superman undershirt.
Above is me at 5 years old proudly displaying my man of steel underoos.
Now that’s what you call nerd-cred.
