Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol – Review
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is the 4th in the Mission Impossible series. The movie starts off with Ethan Hawke (Tom Cruise) in a Russian prison. A new group of spies break him out in order for a new mission. The movie is fairly straight forward, stop the russian nuclear codes from reaching the wrong people. Benji (Simon Pegg) , Brandt (Jeremy Renner), & Jane (Paula Patton) are the new members of the team. This is a high action movie complete with all the super-cool spy gadgets.
I really enjoyed this movie. I haven’t seen a Mission Impossible movie since the first one. I don’t remember actually liking the first movie. But, this movie was a lot of fun. Simon Pegg added the much needed comic relief as a computer programmer, while Renner & Cruise busted skulls.
I saw this movie in IMAX, and I totally recommend it. The IMAX experience was beautifully shot. There’s a part where you’re in Dubai hanging off the worlds highest building. You feel like you are really there. This movie is non-stop action. There are no lulls. I give it 4 out of 5.
