Homemade Fried Ice Cream
Okay, I love Mexican food! The free chips & salsa, the Coronas w/Lime, the tacos, chimichangas, burritos. Yes, I love em all. Usually by the end of the meal, I’m stuffed. But, they have one of the best desserts ever… Fried Ice Cream!!
Since I’m usually too stuffed at the restaurant, I decided to try my luck at home. Luckily, I have all the ingredients on hand. Vanilla Ice Cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, whipped Cream & chocolate syrup.
Here’s what you do… Chop some CTC in a chopper (or put them in a plastic bag violently beat them with a hammer).
Roll a scoop of ice cream in the Cinnamon mess, coating it completely. Then put it in the freezer for about an hour. Yeah, you gotta wait an hour for this stuff, sorry if I’ve deceived you. Look, I’ll make it up to you. Just see how many beers you can drink before the hour is up. It’s a fun game.
Okay, be careful, you’re very drunk now. Set the oven to broil, and pop the cinnamon crunch ice cream ball in there for 30 – 45 seconds.
Top the ice cream with Ready Whip & Chocolate Syrup!
Enjoy!
Okay, This recipe is pretty close to what it tastes like at a Mexican Restaurant. It tastes awesome! So, go try some… Oh, and turn the oven off, you’ll burn the house down!
