The Holidays with the Jones’

Read Time:1 Minute, 14 Second

Hey there in internet land.

Well, I decided to put up some Christmas decorations here on the site. Its not much, but maybe it’ll get you in the Christmas spirit. If you don’t see them at the top, just hit refresh on your browser. Anyway, can you believe that its already Thanksgiving next week. Before you know it, Christmas will be here. I’ll try to do some Christmas themed articles in the next month & a half.

I thought about doing the Jones soda drink off again like I did a couple years ago, but it’s been done over and over again. Plus, I’ve only seen a dessert pack this year. There are a few Christmas flavors this year I’d like to check out, though.

Okay, now after actually looking up the facts about the Jones soda packs this year, I may have changed my mind about the Holiday Packs. This year, they don’t have the usual Holiday packs with Turkey & Gravy and other Thanksgiving flavors. They’re having 2 different packs: A Christmas pack & a Chanukah Pack.

The Christmas pack has the following flavors: Christmas Ham Soda, Christmas Tree Soda, Egg Nog Soda and Sugar Plum Soda.

The Chanukah pack has these flavors: Latke Soda, Apple Sauce Soda, Chocolate Coins Soda and Jelly Doughnut Soda.

I don’t know if I’ll end up with a pack or not this year. But, it would be interesting to find out what Ham & Christmas Trees taste like in liquid form.

  1. I just bought the Christmas Cocoa 4 pack and Gingerbread Man 4 pack Jones sodas at Target. They also had another 4 pack, I can’t recall the flavor now, as well as their 2007 pie flavored 4 pack that was boxed.

  2. Yeah, I saw the 4 packs and the pie pack at Target too. The other 4 pack I saw was Candy Cane. Did you try them yet? I’d be interested to know how they taste.

I wish I could afford to buy all the flavors, but after buying all those packs, it starts to add up. And with Christmas on the way, I’m kinda broke 🙂

  3. Haven’t tried them yet. Waiting for the holidays. Here is a way to try the flavors and save on the cost. When we buy 4 packs in the grocery stores we swap the bottles around to get an assortment of flavors we want. Usually 4 different flavors in one pack, sometimes 2 each of 2 flavors. We don’t think they care as there is always breakage in grocery stores and they put loose bottles in the fridge section. Note: Never done this in a Target though. We haven’t had any problems in the grocery stores. One tip (LOL): We do try to go to a busy line with a cashier who looks like they could care less and then figure what is the worst thing that can happen, that person says “no”, and we leave without buying it.

  4. Have you seen the Jones Soda Co. Seattle Seahawks limited edition set? It’s available on their site. It looks absolutely wretched, though; containing flavors like dirt and perspiration.
